Larsen & Toubro has dispatched the eighth steam generator for India's fleet programme of 700 MWe pressurised heavy water reactors. The company announced the milestone on 22 October 2026, reporting dispatch three months ahead of the contractual delivery schedule. The equipment was manufactured at L&T's Heavy Engineering Complex in Hazira.
