## Key facts

- Release date: 23 October 2026
- Sheepyard strike length: Approximately 800 metres, unconstrained
- Previously reported July assay: 9 metres at 0.94 g/t gold from 42 metres
- Planned follow-up: Reverse-circulation drilling planned for November

Talisman Mining’s September-quarter activities report, released on 23 October, says reverse-circulation (RC) drilling at the Sheepyard prospect was being planned to start in November. The report also describes an aircore program at East Peak Hill that began after quarter-end. The company’s Sheepyard drilling results are not new October assays: the September report expressly refers readers to Talisman’s 27 July announcement for those intersections, and its earlier June-quarter report had already reported them.

The July results, repeated in the later reports, included 9 metres at 0.94 grams of gold per tonne from 42 metres, including 6 metres at 1.28 g/t, plus a separate 15 metres at 0.55 g/t from 3 metres. Another hole returned 15 metres at 0.46 g/t from 30 metres. Talisman described the intersections as shallow and spread over an approximately 800-metre currently unconstrained strike length. It said they lie along the margins of an induced-polarisation chargeability anomaly, whose central zone had not yet been drilled. Intercepts do not establish a mineral resource or economic viability.

The July report gives the geological and exploration context: Sheepyard is within the company’s Walkers Hill Gold Project in New South Wales, and forms the southern part of a roughly 5.5-kilometre northwest-trending soil anomaly with values above 25 parts per billion gold. At that point Talisman said follow-up aircore and RC drilling was planned to extend the footprint and test the anomaly at depth. The September-quarter report advances that plan by saying RC drilling was planned for November; it does not report that the work had started or that the anomaly had been tested.

The October report separately says a roughly 2,500-metre East Peak Hill aircore program began after quarter-end to test a corridor about five kilometres long. Talisman expected it to finish by the end of October and said first results were anticipated in early December. These are company schedules, not completed outcomes. East Peak Hill is a different prospect from Sheepyard, and its follow-up drilling should not be conflated with the November Sheepyard RC plan.

The quarterly filing also reports A$4.761 million cash at 30 September and A$157,000 in royalty receipts from the Wonmunna iron-ore project. The immediate exploration update is therefore the planned next phase at Sheepyard and the separate East Peak Hill campaign, while the assay figures are previously disclosed results included as context.
