Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) has invited sealed bids for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and handover of about 121 km of 400 kV overhead line from Songo substation to Matambo substation, under the Green Energy Corridors Project. The World Bank published the notice on 13 October 2026.

The procurement uses a two-envelope request for bids without prequalification, with rated criteria weighted 60% and bid cost 40%. The contract period is 30 months. The English bidding document is free on written request, and bids need a bid-securing declaration rather than a bid security.

Bids must be delivered in Maputo by 14:00 local time on 30 November 2026; electronic bidding is not permitted. The contract is financed by World Bank grant E303-MZ.
