Motorway operator APRR has invited bids for a broad pavement-renewal programme on A6 North and selected sections of A77. The notice identifies locations by kilometre markers and directions, including A6 PR 44/61 in both directions, the Courtenay interchange, PR 110/76 and PR 120/116, and A77 PR 0/6. The package is planned for 15 months, with a stated start date of 10 May 2027. The deadline for tenders is 12 November 2026 at noon (+02:00).

The principal item is renewal of the running surface across the full width and on entry and exit ramps at interchanges. The notice estimates this at 960,000 square metres. Separate quantities include 18,600 square metres of surface and binder-course renewal at Courtenay; 2,800 square metres of running-surface renewal at the Cély interchange in the Paris-to-Lyon direction; 77,000 square metres of spot binder-course replacement; and 2,950 square metres of repairs to continuously reinforced concrete pavement. Ancillary work includes drainage, raised strips and gutters.

This combination of long runs of resurfacing and localised repairs requires bidders to plan for different pavement treatments within a single contract. The publication does not provide lane-by-lane scheduling, traffic management arrangements, material recipes, recycling requirements or detailed site constraints. It says the works fall on an operating motorway, so the works are explicitly maintenance in service; the precise staging and access rules are in the tender documents. The buyer also reserves the right to commission similar services without prior competition under the cited French public procurement provision.

APRR describes a price criterion but notes that price is not the sole award factor; all award criteria are set out only in the procurement documents. The TED estimated-value field is recorded as €0.00, which is not a substantive positive estimate; no usable budget is stated. Its place-of-performance information spans the named A6/A77 sections, while the summary uses road reference points rather than a single town or site. A public opening session is not planned.

The notice is an invitation to tender dated 22 October 2026. It is not a report that resurfacing has begun, nor does it identify an awardee. The estimated quantities give suppliers a first view of scale and treatment mix, but the full bill of quantities and technical specifications remain controlling for bid preparation. Tenderers should also consult the documentation for the operational coordination needed when working on a live motorway and for any interfaces with other maintenance packages.

Offers remain valid for 180 days according to the notice. The listed contract period is 15 months, with a planned start date of 10 May 2027. That timing is prospective and does not establish a mobilisation date after award. The notice also allows the buyer to procure similar works under the cited French provision. Its published areas and volume indicate the package’s broad scale, while detailed pavement sections, material requirements and execution windows remain for bidders to confirm in the consultation file.
