Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF) has opened a works tender for maintenance of the A7 motorway between Mondragon and Piolenc, kilometre points 152 to 162, in both directions. The published scope is asphalt pavement maintenance on a motorway in service. The contract duration is eight months. Bids are due on 12 November 2026 at noon, with +01:00 stated. The notice links this competition to an earlier planning notice, reference 88072-2026, but does not give a planned start date.
The works include supply, manufacture and installation of asphalt mixes, pavement milling and renewal of horizontal road markings. The notice estimates about 387,440 square metres of milling and 365,580 square metres of BBDr wearing course. It separately lists 1,940 square metres of BBTM wearing course and 1,400 cubic metres of BBSG material. Those measures describe different work items; the notice does not map each mix to particular chainages or give a full treatment plan in its summary.
ASF warns candidates that the project may run at the same time as other pavement sites for which tenders are expected to be launched. Where firms win several such contracts, the buyer expects them to mobilise distinct staff and equipment for each. This is a capacity requirement for the competition, rather than an assertion that another contractor or project has already been selected. The notice does not identify shift patterns, lane closures, traffic diversion arrangements or whether the work will be carried out at night.
The stated duration is eight months, but the notice does not specify an execution calendar or commencement date. It assigns the works to a single lot and gives Orange as the procurement-area city, while the project title defines the section by kilometre points. The record contains no substantive positive estimated value; nor does it name a contractor or report a contract award. Its event is the publication of the competition notice, not a deadline amendment or the start of resurfacing.
The published award information says price is not the sole criterion and refers bidders to the procurement documents for the full award criteria. A prior planning notice is linked, but that identifier is not a previous deadline or evidence of a contract. Firms need the technical file for asphalt specifications, quality tests, pavement condition data and traffic-control requirements. The notice’s current bid deadline is 12 November 2026 at 12:00 (+01:00), and its eight-month duration is the only execution horizon stated in the TED summary.
The notice sets a nine-month validity period for offers, separate from the eight-month contract duration. That means the bid remains valid beyond the stated execution term. The competition is open, and the buyer notes that price is not the only criterion; the remaining evaluation details are in the tender dossier.
