Worley has been awarded three engineering services contracts by Burr Computer Environments, Inc. (BCEI) to provide engineering, detailed design and procurement support for energy centre projects in the United States, according to a Worley release dated 26 August 2026.

The energy centres will support data center campus developments with behind-the-meter power generation, meaning power produced on the customer's side of the utility meter. The release says the facilities will combine gas turbines, aeroderivative turbines and reciprocating engines with battery energy storage systems and intra-campus electrical distribution.

Work will be delivered from Worley's Houston, Charleston (West Virginia) and Reading offices, supported by its Global Integrated Delivery group. The release says the work aligns with the company's existing capability in complex energy systems.

The release does not disclose contract values, the end customers or the locations of the three projects.
